PRU12 - A Lesson for All

Was on MH002 when election was at its peak. Checked the results with Bak, who came with the Birm clan & picked us up at LHR. Man, I thought BN wouldn't have problem retaining 2/3rd majority. But when I spoke to the guys on the ground, they say "Belum tentu bang, orang bengang". Wallah! True enough - not only did BA retained Kelantan (with much higher majority 39/45), but also captured Selangor!!, Perak, Kedah and Penang. And KL almost sapu bersih. Now, what do you call that? The people has spoken. Hats off to people like RPK, Jeff Ooi & other bloggers etc.

Read an interesting article by Dr. Farish, and here's some quotes:
"To expect 'Islam Hadari' to correct the mistakes of Umno's own ethnocentric communitarian politics is a contradiction in terms. A party that perpetuates the divisive politics of racial and religious communitarianism cannot preach universal love and respect, not even among its own members and supporters". (Dr. Farish A.
